OKLAHOMA CITY — Claudia S. San Pedro has been promoted to president of Sonic Corp. from her role as executive vice-president and chief financial officer. In her new role, Ms. San Pedro will be responsible for franchisee relations, supply chain, franchise sales and development, and business planning. She also will provide oversight of the finance function, Sonic said.
A 12-year veteran of Sonic, Ms. San Pedro joined the company in 2006 as treasurer and was later promoted to vice-president of investor relations. She was appointed c.f.o. in 2015, leading financial strategies and planning practices for Sonic as well as the brand’s relationship with lending institutions, shareholders and the financial community.
Stepping into the vacated c.f.o. role is Corey R. Horsch, who joined Sonic as vice-president of investor relations and treasurer in 2015. In his new role, Mr. Horsch will be responsible for all financial planning, internal audit, accounting and tax while maintaining leadership for the investor relations and treasury functions. Mr. Horsch’s career prior to Sonic includes time at Surveyor Capital, Luther King Capital Management and Credit Suisse.
