ROSEMONT, ILL. — David Works has been named executive vice-president and chief human resources officer for US Foods Holding Corp. He will report to Pietro Satriano, chairman and chief executive officer of the company.
Mr. Works joins US foods from Hackensack Meridian Health, where he was chief human resources officer for the not-for-profit health care organization. Previously, he was president of the enterprise business unit at Windstream and chief human resources officer at Windstream. Before that, he was president of the talent and human capital services at Sears Holdings Corp., a partner at ghSMART, an engagement manager at McKinsey & Co. and an engineering group leader at Motorola. Mr. Works spent the first seven years of his career as a submarine officer in the U.S. Navy.
