MOUNT PROSPECT, ILL. — The Mizkan Group is bringing its Mizkan brand of Japanese sauces and rice vinegars to the United States with the launch of Mizkan America offerings. The company has been producing condiments in Japan since 1804.

Mizkan’s line of rice vinegars features three Non-GMO Project verified varieties: natural, with a mild and mellow flavor; seasoned, with a mild and sweet flavor; and organic natural, with a mild and mellow flavor.

Sauces include ponzu citrus seasoned soy sauce, sesame dipping sauce and dumpling sauce. A cooking seasoning features a trio of sweet, sour and bitter flavors and is formulated for sauces and glazes.

“Today’s home chefs gravitate to their kitchens to seek global connectivity and culinary adventures, so we wanted to give consumers great tasting Japanese flavors within a premium portfolio of products that were easily accessible,” said Sara Delach, brand manager for Mizkan America, Inc. “We’re delighted to offer this new line of flavorful condiments to U.S. consumers, helping Americans enjoy the flavors that make authentic Japanese cooking uniquely delicious. Because when it comes to unforgettable food, there’s a universal rule: Eat as the locals eat.”
