KANNAPOLIS, NC. – Prime Beverage Group will invest $68 million in its first manufacturing plant located in Kannapolis. Prime Beverage is a co-packer that will mix and package canned beverages.

The 300,000-square-foot plant will include high-speed manufacturing lines, warehouse and administrative offices. The plant will have the capacity to fill 1,500 cans per minute and initially employ 231, according to the company.

“Utilizing the latest innovations in technology and high-speed equipment, Prime Beverage Group will bring much needed capacity at the highest efficiencies with the lowest cost to the co-packing market,” said Jeremy Lantz, chief executive officer.
