ELMWOOD PARK, NJ. — Dr. Praeger’s Sensible Foods unveiled its new Farm Stand Cauliflower Burger, a plant-based burger made exclusively with ingreidents from local farms in New York and New Jersey.
The meat-free frozen patties are made with cauliflower, brown rice, cremini mushrooms, quinoa, pea protein, fava beans, kale, peas, oat bran, zucchini, oat fiber and spices. The non-GMO, gluten-free burgers contain 7 grams of fiber and 9 grams of protein each and are free from cholesterol and added sugars.
The Farm Stand Burger joins Dr. Praeger’s existing lineup of plant-based burgers, including the California Veggie Burger and Perfect Burger, made from sweet potato, butternut squash, beet and carrot.
“As a veggie focused brand, Dr. Praeger’s took action to support local farmers by creating this new product sourced exclusively with fresh produce from local farms,” a spokesperson for the company said.
