ROSEMONT, ILL. — Bill Hancock has been named executive vice president and chief supply chain officer at US Foods Holding Corp., effective Nov. 9. He will oversee warehousing, transportation and supply chain strategy and operations and safety, labor relations and continuous improvement. He will report to Pietro Satriano, chairman and chief executive officer.

Mr. Hancock joins US Foods from American Tire Distributors, where most recently he was senior vice president of supply chain operations. Previously, he was vice president of global supply chain operations at Target Corp.
