LE MARS, IOWA — Halo Top is continuing to key in on keto with a new addition to its keto-friendly lineup: Keto Pops.
The portable pops are made with ultra-filtered skim milk, which delivers fewer net carbs and more protein than regular ice cream, according to the company. Halo Top Keto Pops come in four flavors, including sea salt caramel, peanut butter chocolate, berry swirl, and chocolate cheesecake.
The sea salt caramel pop combines vanilla frozen dessert with swirls of sea salt caramel all dipped in chocolate-flavored coating. Each pop contains 130 calories, 3 grams of protein and 2 grams of net carbs.
The peanut butter chocolate flavor features peanut butter frozen dessert with peanut butter chips and swirls of fudge dipped in a chocolate-flavored coating. Each pop contains 180 calories, 3 grams of protein and 3 grams of net carbs.
The berry swirl variety is made with light berry frozen dessert with swirls of blueberry and strawberry syrups dipped in a chocolate-flavored coating. Each pop contains 130 calories, 3 grams of protein and 2 grams of net carbs.
The chocolate cheesecake offering includes chocolate cheesecake flavored frozen dessert with swirls of fudge all covered in a chocolate-flavored coating. Each pop contains 160 calories, 3 grams of protein and 2 grams of net carbs.
Additionally, Halo Top is expanding its Keto Series Pints portfolio with three new flavors inspired by traditional desserts.
The brownie a la mode pint contains vanilla-flavored frozen dessert swirled with fudge and brownie pieces. Each pint contains 520 calories, 19 grams of protein and 10 grams of net carbs.
The chocolate caramel lava cake pint features chocolate frozen dessert swirled with fudge and sea salt caramel. Each pint contains 570 calories, 19 grams of protein and 7 grams of net carbs.
The vanilla bean pint is made with vanilla beans and contains 410 calories, 18 grams of protein and 4 grams of net carbs per pint.
