PITTSBURGH — The Kraft Heinz Co. is introducing Heinz Dip & Crunch, combining a dipping sauce and crunchy potato bits in a two-in-one package, designed to add flavor and texture to burgers.
The burger sauce is formulated with tomato puree, molasses, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic powder, tamarind concentrate, onion powders and spices. A spicy option also is available.
The company initially tested the concept in select Jack in the Box restaurants. The product is available nationwide at Walmart, Meijer, Target and Giant stores.
