EDISON, NJ. — Tania Moreira Parra has joined AAK’s western region sales team as senior account manager. Ms. Moreira Parra will manage the manufacture of value-added specialty vegetable fats and oil’s key accounts and also will serve as business development lead for organic oils.

“In 2019, AAK became fully organic certified, and we have seen good double-digit growth each year,” said Octavio Diaz de Leon, president of AAK USA and AAK North Latin America. “Tania’s experience at AAK Mexico gives her a great foundation to manage and develop key accounts as we work to grow sales of AAK’s organic oils program in the western US region. Her experience in product life cycle management and product-based strategy building is sure to enhance our go-to-market approach. We look forward to seeing what she will accomplish in her new role.”

Previously, Ms. Moreira Parra was the sales manager for AAK Mexico.

She received a bachelor’s degree in food technology and a master’s degree in business administration from Cardiff University in the United Kingdom.
