HOERSHOLM, DENMARK— Oterra has introduced red and pink color blends for plant-based meat and seafood.

Red and pink ColorFruit and FruitMax blends may mimic the look and behavior of traditional and animal-derived variants, according to the company. 

The blends utilize a special pigment combination, which may mimic animal-based meat by changing color during the cooking process. 

The products may be used to tailor-made shades for various types of meat and seafood substitute products such as burgers, sausages, minced meat, meatballs, deli slices, salmon, or tuna steaks.
