MOUNT PROSPECT, ILL. — Ragu, a subsidiary of Mizkan America, Inc., is launching a line of kettle cooked sauces.

The sauce line is aimed at consumers as a convenient way to elevate their homecooked meals. Made with ingredients like crushed tomato, basil, oregano and fresh garlic, the slow-simmer sauces contain no added sugar and are launching in marinara, roasted garlic and tomato basil flavors.

“We believe ‘homemade’ doesn't have to mean spending all day in the kitchen, new Ragu Kettle Cooked sauces offer a smart shortcut with a rich and savory homemade taste that makes mealtime even easier,” said Megan Frank, senior vice president of marketing at Mizkan America, Inc.

Ragu’s kettled cooked sauces are now available in 24-oz jars at select US retailers, like Meijier and Kroger stores, with plans to expand into national retailers in August.
