SEATTLE — Starbucks’ renowned pumpkin spice latte is celebrating its 20th anniversary and returning to stores on Aug. 24.

In addition to the wildly popular beverage, the company’s fall menu features new seasonal drinks, a new bakery item and a host of familiar products. Unique offerings include the baked apple croissant, an apple-filled pastry wrapped in croissant dough and topped with sugar; the Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso, a combination of Starbucks Blonde Espresso and flavor notes like apple, cinnamon and brown sugar; and the Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Latte, inspired by a popular order customization.

“We’re excited to celebrate the creativity of our baristas and customers by offering the Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte on the official fall menu,” said Billy Altieri, beverage developer at Starbucks. “The warm spice flavors of chai and pumpkin seamlessly blend together, creating a creamy and comforting iced beverage.”

Reappearing menu items range from the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew and Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato to Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins, Owl Cake Pops and slices of Pumpkin & Pepita Loaf. The company’s fall-flavored retail products, such as Pumpkin Spice Coldbrew Concentrate and Iced Espresso Pumpkin Spice Lattes, also are returning to shelves beginning in August.
