AURORA, COLO. — MycoTechnology has appointed Michael Leonard to lead the company as chief executive officer. Mr. Leonard will succeed the company’s co-founder and former CEO, Alan Hahn. Mr. Hahn will assume the role of executive chairman.
Most recently, Mr. Leonard was CEO for Motif FoodWorks since 2022 and previously chief technology officer from 2019 through 2022. He also has held leadership positions at Kraft Heinz and PepsiCo. In addition, he has held positions at International Flavors & Fragrances and DuPont Nutrition & Health.
Mr. Leonard received a Ph.D. in polymer science and engineering from the University of Massachusetts and a Master of Business Administration from MIT Sloan School of Management.
